Return and Refund Policy:

The Wave Transit System (The WAVE) does not accept returns on bus passes.
This includes both Fixed Route and MAP. Before deciding to purchase a bus pass, be sure of the value and type before purchasing.

The WAVE does not offer refunds for bus passes purchased online, at our ticket windows or vendors. Once a customer purchases a pass, The WAVE does not offer a cash refund or exchange. All sales are final.

As a customer you are responsible for understanding this upon any online purchase. The WAVE realizes that exceptional circumstances can take place with regard to purchasing passes, therefore, we do review requests for refunds for the following reasons only:

Non-delivery of the product due to mailing issues.

  • In this case you must contact The WAVE for assistance within 10 business days of the order being placed. Claims for non-delivery must be submitted to our Customer Service Department or Finance Department in writing at the GM&O Transportation Center, 110 Beauregard Street, Suite 104, Mobile, Alabama 36602, otherwise the bus pass will be considered received.
  • Discontinuance of service on MAP buses only.
